The first thing you'll notice is that there are no names in the video. Surprise, surprise! Everyone is going through this around because of a few issues and the fact I don't want to delay this more. If you were not able to get a video done before the deadline, I'll let you enter one late for a reduced score - I'm like that teacher in high school who takes pity on your poor soul. This is a one-time thing, though.
Basic rules:
- There are no time limits. The important thing is to get the theme and emotion/story of your video through, whether that takes you one minute or five.
- You must edit with the ship you chose - this contest is to fight for your OTP! Any other ship - unless it's a love triangle/etc. - will not be accepted as an entry.
- The music will ALWAYS be your choice, and so choose according to the mood you choose to portray while fitting the theme.
- If your video is blocked for any reason, it is up to you to both make a placeholder video to use as a video response and PM your entry to be as a download/alternate link.
- While you are free to use the canon story to your OTP - mind, if there is one - please remember this contest is about YOUR OTP, and that can mean anything you want. I encourage all contestants to explore AU possibilities where possible and to stretch the boundaries of what your OTP means to you and everyone else. (Of course, this will be a given for crossover/non-canon OTPs, but please don't limit yourselves, either.)
This round's theme: Obsession
Relationships can be absolutely wonderful - but sometimes too much of a good thing grows into something more sinister. (Note - relationships don't technically have to be romantic, that as always is up to you.)
The deadline will be December 31st.
BONUS QUESTION:
Give three reasons why someone should ship your OTP. (not technically a question but whatever deal with it)

I know, this video has everything going against gettin me my views and likes and comments! Its NOT FF or KH, its an overused song, and its not a popular anime. Its actually not an anime, per say, its a movie called Arashi no Yoru Ni/One Stormy Night, and I HIGHLY recommend it to anyone. Seriously, I got it on a whim because the goats adorable, but the second half brought me to tears multiple times.
Basically its about a goat named Mei and a wolf named Gabu who become unlikely friends after meeting in a pitch black barn on a stormy night. Obviously the other goats and wolves dont like that.
Again, I cannot stress how much I loved this movie. I feel like sometimes everyone gets so caught up in the romance and how everything has to be about boyfriends or girlfriends and sex and romantic love and just all the excessive drama that comes with that. Some people forget that friendship is just as powerful, if not more so than romance, and that maybe our priorities are sometimes getting a little off-base here. This movie was just... the simple joy of loving someone as a friend.
So yeah, if you actually watched it even though its an obscure anime, congrats! Even more so if you actually read this. I feel like our bond has been strengthened by this. No, really. I think I love you. In a platonic way, of course.")
