With so much concern about carbon dioxide levels in the atmosphere from burning fossil fuels and quicklime production, I try to demonstrate the carbon capture principle by applying sodium carbonate solution to carbon dioxide and then adding calcium hydroxide to separate calcium carbonate, which contains that carbon.
