The Baronial Hall is situated within the Winter Gardens Complex in Blackpool and was part of an upgrading of the complex completed in the early 1930s. The Baronial Hall opened in May 1931 along with the Spanish Hall, the Ye Galleon bar, the Renaissance Restaurant, and the Windsor Bar. The Floral Hall was also refurbished at the same time and had a lounge bar added.
The Baronial Hall is situated next to the Spanish Hall and replaced the former Victoria Hall which was situated above the Victoria Street entrance. The Baronial Hall was designed as a medieval style banqueting hall by Andrew Mazzei and features what looks like dark oak paneling and beams, but is in reality just cleverly created plasterwork.
