A love that changed the world.

When Roman general Antony first sets eyes on Egyptian queen Cleopatra, he is love-struck. Antony’s friend Enobarbus recounts the tale in this speech, performed here by the Company.

Our new bilingual production, which uses a mixture of BSL and Spoken English and is captioned throughout, will see the beauty of Shakespeare’s poetic play realised in two languages on the Globe stage.
