The Band Books Tag is an original tag created by Ally @genteelblackhole to celebrate his 40th birthday. It's a celebration of music and books. Happy Birthday, Ally!

1. Cardiacs: A book close to your heart, or a book with flowers on the cover. (Bonus points for daisies.)
2. XTC: A book that brings you joy, or a book written/set near where you live.
3. Thelonious Monk: A character with a brilliant name or a distinctive hat.
4. Robert Wyatt: A character who experiences a sea change or hits rock bottom.
5. Ivor Cutler: A favourite poetry book or poem (bonus points if you read a poem), or a favourite Scottish book.
