THE BALTIS - "The Man With The Grasshopper Brain"
Back in the "Thatcher Era" I wrote Blues Reviews for a magazine called "First Hearing". I was blessed to receive an EP entitled "The Man With The Grasshopper Brain" from a couple of guys, Richard Tracey and Brian Bannister. This became one of my most treasured records.
Some 20 odd years later, this track and a couple of others from the EP (such as "42/100") actually feel even MORE important than at the time. Sadly, I believe the duo split before producing their intended album, so this EP is a rarity.
To me it feels more of a crime NOT to share the wonderful, poignant and relevant music than respecting some notional symbol of a "C" within a circle. If you can't buy this then I'm depriving no one of any financial reward am I???
IF Brian or Richard see this, firstly "Hey guys, thanks for the Christmas card and I hope you're both doing well", and secondly "If either of YOU want me to remove this video then just send me a message and I'll obviously respect your wishes and pull it immediately".
