"I remembered it, but I didn't think about it."
(in reference to their return to Vietnam and resurfaced memories)

This was supposed to be uploaded yesterday, but I was out with my family all day and didn't get a chance to finish it until now. Last year, Keira made a tribute for our troops using SG-1, this year it's my turn with the A-Team.

Memorial Day, or Decoration Day as it was once called, is a chance for us as a unified people to honor our service personnel, both alive and deceased, as well as recognizing those friends and family members who have waited, or still wait, for their loved ones safe return.

What I wished to convey with this video is that, political differences aside, we, as Americans, need to show the due respect and support that the brave men and women of our armed forces deserve. If we love them, let's let them know.

Sometimes, agendas or differing points of view tend to muddle and taint the facts. As a result, the military is often ridiculed or blamed, but the truth is these men and women have chosen to lay their lives on the line for us every day. Without them, there would be no America and there most certainly would be no Freedom. Let's stand behind them, because they stand up for us.

Throughout the video I wanted to show the honor and dedication (flashbacks from Vietnam) of the team vs. their mistreatment by political pressure culminating in their execution. I also aimed to show the support of family and friends e.g. the dinner table.

The ending of the video is symbolic; Murdock burying the picture in the grave, signifies burying old memories, while his time with his girlfriend Kelly signifies the making of new memories. Face sitting with his sister, is showing the period of adjustment that changes can bring. Sometimes they're hard to get through without someone there to help. The last line, "if you love me won't you let me know", was meant to convey the bond units, teams, soldiers, acquire after spending time together. Their love as a surrogate family also translates to the love of their country.
