I've been meaning to check out Astyanax for the Nintendo Entertainment System for some time now but i had no idea there was a arcade version of Astyanax.
Released in 1989 Axtanyax is a awesome arcade game. You play as He Man from the masters of the universe and sort out a bunch of monsters through out the levels...Nah, you don't play as He Man from Masters Of The Universe but the character you play as look very simulair to He Man.
I gotta check out Astyanax from the Nintendo Entertainment System right away casue i enjoyed the hell out of The Astyanax on the aracde.

I found a bunch of Japanese Transformer commercials and i wanted to share on my youtube but i wanted to make it a bit more entertaining so i turned it into a music video.
Im a big fan of Transformers but mostly the japanese side of Transformers.
I find the episodes and characters much more interesting and the toys are exceptionally made as well but sadly they do come with a hefty price tag which sucks butt.
See any Transformer toys you like? casue i sure did.

SD Kidou Senshi Gundam 2 was released for the Super Famicom in 1993.
The other night i was kinda interested in checking out some Gundam games for the Super Famicom.
I came across SD Kidou Senshi Gundam 2, why didnt i check out the first version of this game? I did, and i didnt like it as much.
So here we are with SD Kidou Senshi Gundam 2. I did enjoy my time with this game but it is a relatively short game.
During my play through it did dawn upon me that i am familiar with Gundam, ive seen the toys, played a handful of Gundam video games but i have never watched a Gundam movie.
So i checked out the first Gundam movie that was on netflix.
I didnt like it, i found it a bit boring so i might just stick with the video games for now.
Check out Sd Kidou Senshi Gundam 2 thou, its a great game.")

Ushio To Tora was released for the Super Famicom in 1993.
Ive never heard of Ushio To Tora and i havent seen or read the manga but i do remember going into a Book Off while in Japan and seeing a copy of Ushio To Tora for the Super Famicom.
I remember looking at the copy of Ushio To Tora thinking why is this game boxed and complete for $15 haha, i mean the box art looked awesome for Ushio To Tora.
So, i took a photo of Ushio To Tora for the Super Famicom and looked up the game when i got back to my hotel, then added it to my scroll of games to check out.
Years later ive finally checked out Ushio To Tora and i can say the game is weird, its totally playable given all the japanese dailogue...Its just weird cause i have no idea what was happening but it was still fun wondering what weird monster ill be up against next.
Ushio To Tora kinda gave me King Of Demons vibes.

Ultra Seven was released for the Super Famicom in 1993.
I gotta say right away that i enjoyed my time with Ultra Seven. I know this game doesnt have all the bells and whistles that a normal fighting game would have but sometimes a game as simple as Ultra Seven can but just as enjoyable.
All this positive talk about Ultra Seven is coming from a Ultraman fan and i will admit it feels awesome playing a ultraman game as i enjoy the characters from the Ultraman world but sometimes us gamers we need to play games as simple as ultraseven as its a stress free game to play and hey, hopefully this game might open up your world to ultraman.")

Im always on the look out for a fun action platformer game with some horror elements added to it and Gs Mikami: Joreishi Wa Nice Body scratched that itch, big time.
Released in in 1993 for the Super Famicom Gs Mikami: Joreishi Wa Nice Body is a action platformer based off a Japanese anime (Now i have another anime to check out)
I was really taken back with how much fun i had while playing Gs Mikami: Joreishi Wa Nice Body.
For staters the gameplay for Gs Mikami Joreishi Wa Nice Body makes for a comfortable experience as the controls for the game as pretty basic.
Theres an attack a super attack and you can jump, nothing too fancy.
But the stages do look interesting as one stage youre riding on what looks like a a cat that hasnt sleept in a long time, another stage has you on a train with some morbid looking enimies and the boss fights can be quite challenging as well (especially the last boss fight) And yes, I did struggle with the last stage as always.
I highly recommend checking out Gs Mikami: Joreishi Wa Nice Body for the Super Famicom.
I know my Longplay only goes for 47 minutes but that recording was my second play though and i can say it took me a lot longer to beat Gs Mikami: Joreishi Wa Nice Body on my first play through as some of the stages can be difficult.

And Im back from Japan and back at these Longplays.
I did pick up a few Famicom titles and hopefully i can figure out how to beat them to show them off sometime soon and hopefully i dont forget to play them as it is pretty easy cause my back catalogue of games that is starting to get outta control.
One game title that i kept forgetting to check out is Zombie Nation for the NES.
I originally first heard of Zombie Nation when i was in Japan a few years ago, the Famicom cartridge of Zombie Nation was behind glass and had such a high price tag that was out of my league, plus my gf would have killed me if i bought it as well.
But luckily i found out Zombie Nation was released on the NES console.
Zombie Nation was released for the NES console is 1991.
Zombie Nation is a side scrolling shoot em up game which is a genre which i hardly ever play so that might change in the future as i really enjoyed Zombie Nation.
The Story for Zombie Nation is pretty believable, i dont want to spoil it for you but its a very straight forward storyline and i do hope they make a Zombie Nation movie cause i want to play the alien at the end of the game, what am i even talking about?
Did i struggle with the difficulty that was waiting for me in Zombie Nation? that is a yes but i did enjoy the trail of error that was ahead of me.
I promise i will check out more shoot em up titles but if you can reccommend some shoot em up titles for me to get into that would be awesome.
Anyways i hope you enjoy this Longplay and i will be back with weekly Longplays.
