With ownership comes responsibility, and each of us owns this country. The ultimate guardian of our rights, as well as guide to how to expand them, has been the US Constitution. With the Constitution now under assault, our democracy is under assault, which means our rights are under assault, which means our freedom as Americans is under assault.
First things first: know what’s going on. We will continue to discuss not only what’s happening but also what each of us can do about it. In all our lives, there is something - an article you forward to a friend, a community effort to support this or that freedom, a way to involve yourself in this way or that. As with everything else in life, once you open your mind to something it begins to appear everywhere.
The race is on. They will not win.
