I've teamed up with @NationalGalleryAus for The Art of Mathematics, a new video series and audio tour charting the intersection between maths and art for @NatSciWk 2026!

The Art of Mathematics reveals the mathematical principles underpinning key works from the national collection. In this episode, we explore Lindy Lee’s Ouroboros 2021-24, an immense stainless-steel sculpture that stands as both a work of art and an engineering triumph. Inspired by the ancient symbol of a serpent eating its own tail, its conception and fabrication is, quite literally, a manifestation of mathematics in steel.
