When gaming were still at its early stages, many developers and publishers embraced wacky, zany ideas to give their product an edge, causing the creation of many unique ideas and concepts for gaming, but as the entertainment media becomes more mainstream, the appeal of taking risks dwindle as development costs rises.
Leaving independent developers to take the reins, from every genres including racing games, which we will be taking a look at today for some of the more interesting examples to pick out.
