In today’s job market, communication skills are key to land any type of job (technical or otherwise).
Asking effective questions is a fundamental aspect of good communication. If done well, it streamlines your work, sends positive signals to the people who read you, and, sometimes, can open new opportunities.
In my experience running The Sound of AI Slack community, I’ve noticed that oftentimes people ask ineffective questions. Some questions are too generic, others have a broad scope, others lack context.
For this reason, I decided to produce a video where I identify the features of ineffective questions, and provide strategies and tips to formulate thoughtful questions, which will increase the likelihood of getting good quality answers.
