The Arizona Department of Public Safety proudly celebrates the graduation of Arizona State Trooper Academy Class 38, marking a significant milestone in the lives of Arizona’s newest state troopers. This ceremony honors the dedication, perseverance, and commitment demonstrated throughout 34 weeks of rigorous academic, physical, and tactical training.
Family members, friends, DPS leadership, and distinguished guests gathered to recognize the graduates as they officially transitioned from cadets to certified Arizona State Troopers. The ceremony featured the presentation of colors, the national anthem, an opening prayer, and remarks from DPS Director Colonel Jeffrey Glover and Arizona Governor Katie Hobbs, who reaffirmed the state’s strong support for law enforcement and public safety.
Speakers reflected on the demanding journey faced by Class 38—early mornings, physical exhaustion, mental challenges, and the transformation into disciplined professionals prepared to protect Arizona’s communities.
