In a panic, Sandra (Kate Walsh) breaks her restraints and tries to give the baby to the possessed, but she is executed by Michael (Paul Bettany). The baby is thrown in the air and Jeep (Lucas Black) manages to catch him before he hits the ground. Moments later, Gabriel (Kevin Durand) enters the diner and fatally wounds Bob (Dennis Quaid). Michael urges the group to escape and tells Jeep to find the prophets and learn to read the instructions.
