This is a clone of Donkey Kong as you can see, made by a Dutch software house called Eaglesoft. I don’t know if this is a pirate game or not, but since in my channel even weird games are included, this gameplay couldn’t be missing :D
Luckily my gameplay didn’t take forever as in Ice Climber for the NES, but it still was really hard, specially the last level (4-4) where you have to remove all white X blocks in only 24 seconds… really few, considering you have to pay attention not to be hit by the firy enemies. (as you noticed, I was really lucky, since I did it in only one second left). A weird but good thing of the last level of a loop is that you can pass through the apeman, since it is harmless.
This game has a 10 second music that loops forever through all the game without stopping, no sound effects but 5 voice samples too: “The Apeman!” (Title screen), “He is coming for you!” (after winning a level), “aaaaaarrrrrgggggghhhhhhh!!!” (after falling), “Game over!” (once game over) and “Well done!” (once completed a loop). However, the voice samples could glitch out all of a sudden, unfortunately.
Controls are good, but there’s an unforgivable glitch where the main character jumps all of a sudden without hitting the space button… it could be really annoying since depending the situation I could lose a life.
