ArtsTech Junior Project - Fall 2009
A piece that aims to show the relationship between different animation styles. Though the media may have changed over time, the fundamental features of animation have retained similar aesthetics throughout.
A stationary Nintendo Wiimote pointed toward the projection is used as an infrared camera. A Wii sensor bar is mounted inside the pencil prop. The program, created with Processing, erases sections of the projection when the sensor passes over it. Continued erasing on an area reveals additional layers of mimicked character actions.
