Im getting ENDLESS amounts of questions of why
people are having problems with smoothing with
smoofofer and other small things that could easily
be fixed with just them knowing what type of demo
theyre using.
In this tutorial I will show you how to
differenciate a GOTV from a POV demo, and HOW to
retrieve them from matches.
If you happen to know anyone who asks what type of
demo they have, send them to this tutorial!

READ HERE FOR POSSIBLE BUG FIXES BEFORE COMMENTING:
1. Weapon and/or models glitching back and forth?
- This happens on some PCs while using BOTH host_timescale and host_framerate. Try disabling host_timescale (host_timescale 0), and try again.
2. Host_timescale 0 and the models are still glitching?
- Try going back 2 rounds and just let the demo play (speed it up if you want) until the time comes when you want to make the smooth. This should fix the lag. If it doesnt, try again. It WILL work eventually.
3. CS:GO closes as soon as you launch it in HLAE?
- As far as I know this happens when the HLAE client is not up to date with the current CS:GO version. Go to http://www.advancedfx.org/download/ and download the latest HLAE client. If it still doesnt work, try removing -insecure from the commandline when launching CS:GO in HLAE. NOTE: Make sure to NOT join any ONLINE servers while using HLAE.
4. mirv commands dont show up?
- Apparantly this happens because of Steam being launched in offline mode. Go online and it should work!
