Description: Ive always wanted to run across an entire country, and so I started small, with Liechtenstein. I used the Map My Run app, which clocked my run across the length of Liechtenstein at 16.08 miles (25.72 km) for a time of 2 hours 32 minutes 9 seconds. Given that I am not really a runner, I was happy to have successfully run across the entire country without stopping.

Day 1 in Alberta, after flying a few thousand miles, I landed in sunny Calgary and met up with my friend Josh, who'll be documenting my journey on video. It was amazingly hot, so I ventured around Alberta's biggest city in a pool of sweat, amazed by the size of the buildings and the openness of the people.
