My jokey way of thinking about it: the agency in “agentic AI” is that it gives humans agency. All the stuff you wanted to do but never had the time, the wherewithal, or the skill for - this thing can actually do lots of it. Not just programming. The long list of things any of us would do if the friction weren’t so high.
