After seeing the remnant of a warrior that still frightens the minions of the Dark One, Devian travels across a windswept valley across a rickety bridge to make it to the Mansion of the Howling Winds. It's master, full of self-loathing and willing to self-flagellate answers many questions but not all leaving some unanswered.
He also trusts the fall and is rewarded as a result.
