There's an old saying, that "nothing draws a crowd like a crowd", that there is no such thing as bad publicity, because controversy and heated disagreements can't help but draw people in, and in the end the people on the receiving end, can only benefit. Whether or not this is true, I found myself in a position after uploading our last video, that somebody had made a response, in which they called me a liar and a horrible person. I had said that not only did I not want my community to blindly turn this into just another episode of internet drama, but that I MYSELF would not respond either. Unfortunately though, I believe I have to.
The callout video uploaded by the channel SeekerHead, supposedly exposing me for telling nothing but lies the entire video, was FULL of lies itself, nonsensical contradictions, "proof" that actually proved nothing, and personal attacks in an attempt to be funny and "savage" enough that nobody would look too deeply into the points being made. He claimed to be exposing issues he then privately admits to not caring about, and claims to stick up for other content creators despite blanket insulting them IN said video and privately, without having even bothered to reach out to them to see if they actually felt that way in the first place, or wanted to be "stuck up for" (I did reach out... none of them felt that way). I was then flooded with hate raids and mass dislikes on not just the last video, but previous videos as well, along with personal attacks on Discord and other social media, and even attempts at doxxing.
Unfortunately I could not simply say "no, that video was full of lies and mine was in fact not", since at this point according to many people, the burden of proof was on me, and to not respond at all was just "wussing out" or "coping" as the kids say...
So here we are, with an hour and a half worth of response and clarifications. I hope this clears things up... and I hope SeekerHead enjoys!
