She Loves to Cook and She Loves to Eat (作りたい女と食べたい女) is known as a wholesome yuri manga (and drama) series about two women who develop a bond over cooking and eating. As an ace woman, I felt drawn to it in my own special way...and I soon found out why.
March/2024 update: Sakaomi Yuzaki recently posted on bluesky that Kasuga is demiromantic and Nomoto is demisexual. So, further confirmation that the title characters are also canonically aspec!

My original draft of this video included definitions about asexuality and how there’s not much ace representation in media, but I cut out those parts because I didn’t want to make this video too long and I also wanted to focus on joy.
