Back in 2010, Team Meat had their hearts set on bringing their legendary precision platformer to Nintendo's console. But thanks to Nintendo's insanely strict 40MB file size limit for the WiiWare digital store, the developers faced an impossible choice: compress the game to death and cut the iconic soundtrack, or walk away entirely.
When they tried to pivot and release the game as a physical retail disc, industry publishers literally slammed the door in their faces, claiming third-party games "just don't sell" on the Wii.
