I originally made this song for a commission. An emotional song about a character and player leaving a campaign. I loved it so much that I wanted to make a bigger video of it that was more than my more static image video posts. The song felt like the loss of a loved one and so I chose cemeteries, flying, and a 8mm old remembrance video to portray the feeling of losing someone.
Two days after starting this video and gathering those clips, I found out that my grandmother had passed away. In a way I feel like I knew something bad was about to happen. Now I fly out for the funeral from Washington State to Florida. This video reflects this moment and this sadness in my life now. It is scary how we can feel these moments before they happen. I finished off the video by adding in moments of life. Because that acceptance of grief is most important.
This video is now dedicated to Juanita Ingram, my grandmother. Thank you for listening.
