From being too fat to fit in an ambulance to lying to the face of Dr Now about what he eats, Joe Wexler's story story starts out as one of the most depressing in the series, as he is pretty much homebound and waiting to die.

However, he somehow manages to completely turn his life around and complete one of the most shocking transformations I have ever personally seen on the show - and considering he almost tried to take his own life, it is one of the most unexpected ever on the show.
