There's been so many clues and hints over the years. Finally, we know the truth. There is a 3rd Super Mario Larva Brother! His name is Balugio, and he's been cheering on his brothers Mario and Luigi from his egg all this time. He doesn't like leaves, and isn't the most adventurous worm... But! One thing is for sure, he loves his brothers.
This is a throwback to Super Mario Larva Bros.! An old favorite of mine.

Balugio ends up transforming into a PUPA CRATE! So you must now make a choice:
HARVEST BALUGIO PUPA SILK. The silk from Balugio's pupa is the finest in the world. The amount of silk you gain from the harvest is more then you expect, it's enough for a full set of clothes. The silk is so crystal clear, that wearing it makes you invisible. Unfortunately, the process of harvesting silk causes Balugio to die.
ALLOW BALUGIO TO BECOME BUTTERFLY. Balugio will become an incredibly beautiful and amazing butterfly if you provide a safe space for his pupa. After emerging, Balugio will fly around in the local area, making plants grow and bloom. As he sucks the nectar out of flowers, he will think about you and wish you well. Balugio's positive energy will reverberate through your daily life, giving you a +500% luck boost and an aura of positivity that affects others within a 100m radius. Butterflies like Balugio don't live the longest time (maybe a year)? After Balugio passes away becomes an angel, you then receive a permanent 25% luck boost in honor of his memory.
