Each year, the University of South Florida commemorates the victims of the September 11th attacks on our nation. This year, on this 20th anniversary of 9/11, we also offer our support for USF student and alumni veterans who served in Afghanistan – as well as our Afghan students here at USF. Twenty years ago, our nation came together, united by tragedy – to respond, to recover, and to reflect. For this year’s National Day of Service and Remembrance, I invite you to pause and consider how we can work together as One USF to make the world a better place for all.
