My second year in a row at the MGK Boston Summer Bash (or should we call it a 'convention', given its three days of record talk, shopping, conversation and laughter) in Buffalo NY.
There are too many attendees to mention by name, but suffice to say I had a great time re-connecting with the well-known, the familiar, and the new. Credit to MGK for sticking his neck out and ensuring a great turn-out once again.
Mixed it up a bit this year. In place of a Maid in the Mist boat trip under Niagara Falls, some of us explored the Buffalo waterfront (which was surprisingly rather lovely) and the Delaware Park Art Museum. As well as spending too much money on records we don't actually need at Revolver Records, and Black Dots Records, the latter coming-up trumps with its summer sale.
