The 2026 Ariel Rider Kepler is here, and Ariel Rider made some major upgrades. However, there are also a few things you should know before buying one.
In this full review, I go over the design, comfort, controls, color display, torque and cadence sensor options, braking performance, suspension, acceleration, top speed, hill climbing ability, and overall ride quality. I also take it out for a real world ride to see whether the updated Kepler is still one of the best fat tire electric bikes for the money.
The 2026 Kepler features a 52V 20Ah battery, a 750W nominal rear hub motor capable of up to 1,940W peak power, selectable torque or cadence sensing, four piston hydraulic brakes with 203mm rotors, an eight speed drivetrain, and a claimed range of up to 75 miles depending on riding conditions.
It also includes Apple Find My compatibility, rear turn signals, a brake light, a loud horn, and a new full color display.
