The 2022 Nils Klim Prize was awarded to Finnish theologian Elisa Uusimäki, for her outstanding research into the literary and cultural history of Judaism in antiquity. Uusimäki is Associate Professor of Biblical Studies at the Department of Theology, Aarhus University in Denmark. She is also AIAS Associate Fellow at the Aarhus Institute of Advanced Studies. Before moving to Denmark in 2020, she taught at the University of Helsinki.
In this interview, Uusimäki discusses her research interests and approaches. She is interviewed by Professor Jorunn Økland, University of Oslo. The interview was conducted on 7 June, 2022, during the Holberg Week, at the University of Bergen.
