Hi and welcome to the 2020 Stupid Robot Fighting American Championship.
2020 was a year that could well be described as a dumpster fire. Well, get ready to watch the poorly organized contents of a dumpster battle it out.
A Stupid Robot is essentially a humanoid shaped life sized puppet made from garbage. Its joints are thin wire twisted into a loop that links its body parts together. The Stupid Robot is controlled by poles attached to its hands and feet.
The 2020 Stupid Robot Fighting American Championship features 14 Stupid Robots, each designed by different people from around the US of A. The competition is set out in a five heat, three semi final and one final structure. We will also feature an exciting new tag team exhibition match for your viewing pleasure.
The rules of Stupid Robot Fighting League are very simple. The fight is two minutes long and there are two possible roads to victory. The ultimate aim is to separate the opposition Stupid Robot's head from its body . Decapitation is a knock-out and an instant win.
If the fight goes for the full two minutes without a knock-out, at the end of the fight the referee performs a limb count. The Stupid Robot with the most limbs left attached at the end of the fight is the winner.

Stupid Robot Fighting League is a funny new sport from Te Puke, New Zealand.
In it's simplest form, two robots with no robotics are controlled by poles attached to their hands, feet and head.
They beat up the other robot. It's lots of fun. If one robot's head is removed it's counted as a knockout.
