In May 2022, we welcomed award-winning writer, director, and producer Paige Morrow Kimball as part of The 20/20 Series, created by NYFA’s Creative Director of Filmmaking and Cinematography, Liz Hinlein.

Paige Morrow Kimball began her career producing and directing music videos, documentaries, unscripted television, and later established herself as an actor and director of scripted films and television.

She has directed over a dozen films for HBO’s iconic, Sesame Street. Her highly acclaimed social justice short film, Play Date, won seven festival awards and was distributed by Amazon Prime. Her comedy short, Ending Up, is currently on ROKU’s ZTV and was a ShortsHD Movie of the Week.

She Co-Ep’d and directed the comedy web series, Exiled Out East and her newest film, Powers, which she shot on an iPhone and also edited, is premiering at the Oscar Qualifying Cleveland International Film Festival in 2022.

Paige’s extensive credits in unscripted TV include Project Greenlight, The Oprah Winfrey Show, 16 Days of Glory, and many more. Her feature film, Late Bloomers garnered multiple script awards and is in late development. Paige was selected for four studio directing programs: CBS TV, SONY TV, WEFORSHE, DGAs DDI, and she shadowed many veteran TV directors.

As an actress, Paige appeared in numerous films and TV shows, and she spearheaded @BestDirectHER - a grassroots movement that amplifies women directors for the awards they richly deserve. She is a member of the DGA, SAG-AFTRA, and holds a BFA from NYU Film School. She lives with her husband and two daughters in Los Angeles.
