Welcome to Roots, an authentic vanilla Minecraft Let's Play where I try to rediscover what made me fall in love with Minecraft way back in 2013. This series aims to capture the nostalgia of "golden age" Minecraft with the newer updates. Rather than rush through, I want to take time to slow down and enjoy the little moments like I did when I was a kid and make this forever world a home.
In episode 21, I train to beat the wither that has been terrorizing my forever world for a year and a half, trying to improve my combat skills and finally take down the wither once and for all. The risk of losing all my items to a long-standing bug which can turn my items into wither roses adds a secondary level of risk!
