We are back on the 59 REO Gold Comet Car Hauler project again. In this round we spend a lot of time on the old 331 cu in 6 cylinder Gold Comet engine which had a reputation for being tough as nails. We've had it running in a previous video and now we remove parts for further investigation, clean, paint and rebuild where necessary.
Service parts are difficult and sometimes impossible to find, so we make plans and dream up solutions as we go along.
