I’ve never been a “good enough” kind of person when it comes to design. But I’ll admit… sometimes I catch myself doing the same thing everyone else does at home. Leaving the dishes for later. Tossing clothes on the dresser. Thinking, “I’ll deal with it tomorrow.”

That’s where the 15-second rule comes in. A follower shared this with me, and it’s brilliant. If something takes less than 15 seconds to do, do it immediately. Hang the clothes. Put the dish away. Clear the counter.

Those tiny decisions are what keep clutter from slowly taking over your home. And with spring cleaning around the corner, this is the perfect habit to start.
