Onward we go. At least I can see a new set of strings on the distant horizon now.
There was a major setback, due to an ill-performing crappy tool I bought from StewMac, www.stewmac.com, and it was the cause for much head scratching and inventing. I eventually pulled it out and created a workable fix, and finally started moving forward again. It only cost me a few weeks, a lot of headaches and head scratching, and about a hundred bucks. I may or may not ever forgive StewMac...
