Over the course of three months, the two Chads blind scored over 50 Bourbons and American Whiskeys that were released in 2025 on four categories; nose, palate, mouth feel, and finish. We then averaged our scores to get the channel's average score, then took our top 12 highest scored whiskeys and A/B tested our way through them to get our final top 10 ranking.
The original field of whiskeys consisted of bottles we purchased, bottles or samples that were shared with us from distilleries or their marketing groups, and samples shared with us from friends.
In a later episode, we'll dive deeper into out rankings to talk about numbers 11 -15, surprises and upsets, biggest discrepancies in the Chad's scores, how our "Staple" whiskeys scored, and much more. Stay tuned and get subscribed so you don't miss it!
