I saw a video on @BenjaminsBookclub "Top 10 Books I've Read According to Good Reads" youtu.be/HbNDP-CH7ls?si=7wDvWLYuGT_tQ7d1 which was inspired by a @CriminOllyBlog video "The 10 best books I've read, according to GoodReads" youtu.be/AUS7Xgk7K28?si=MzZm0MiGlNtcAKU2 which he shamelessly 'stole' from Jolene @BookwormAdventureGirl "10 Highest Rated Books I've Read - According to goodreads | Do I Agree With These Ratings?" youtu.be/6V9zrANdDgQ?si=9gqSDPzJ1fuJv_AX
And there have been many other Booktubers who have made similar videos like Jack Edwards youtu.be/gouzWJgrrT0?si=lV7jxa4KP1i86wxG
So here is my video. Unlike Jolene and Olly who dismissed any books with fewer than 1000 rating I included them, half my list includes books with fewer than 100 ratings.
The Goodreads rating is interesting but shouldn't be used as the sould factor to consider in choosing a book to read, the ratings are very subjective. Moby Dick for example has an average rating of 3.55 whilst It Ends With Us by Colleen Hoover has a more impressive 4.16 average rating.
