I often see two different types of comments from self-taught developers. The first is from a person who has been learning to code now for some time, hasn't had any success with the job hunt, and is ready to give up. The second is from a person who has found success, persevered, and is in the industry today.
And I wonder what makes some of us succeed while some of us do not?
