Every time we post about the new BSA range, someone drops the same comment. "This isn't a real BSA."
Fair call. Classic Legends, part of the Mahindra Group, bought the rights to the BSA name back in 2016 after the original company had been dead for over 40 years. Zero factory, zero engineering, zero continuity with the brand that once built these bikes in Birmingham.
But here's what people forget. The original BSA didn't collapse because someone stole the badge. It collapsed because it stopped innovating while Honda and Kawasaki reinvented motorcycling around it.
