That's a Plenty Teagarden 1951.
Jack Teagarden and his Orchestra
A recording from 1951, shortly after Jack left Louis Armstrong's All Stars. Brother Charlie Teagarden plays trumpet. I can understand now that Charlie never obtained the status his brother Jack earned. Although he certainly has enough technique he uses it in a rather flat out approach with little attention to nuance and therefore misses the point to be a good jazz musician.
Jack Teagarden is all the way there. Sublime technique and an incredible feel for the dynamics with fantastic improvisational capability which made him the ultimate jazz trombone player from that era.
Funny though that Jack in the second chorus of That's a plenty plays a standard (Teagarden made) solo which he kept on playing exactly the same way when with Louis Armstrong's All Stars.
