$Dont buy any Woodpeckers Squares until you see THIS! The BEST woodworking squares. I get asked a lot what woodworking squares I use. And although I have a Woodpecker’s red aluminum one, I rarely use it. It’s very pretty but at $120 it’s just way overpriced. And sadly I dropped it once, the corner deformed and it’s not very square anymore. Aluminum is just too soft. Plus the fact is that I use a lot of different size squares. Depending on the project. To own 3-4 squares at $100 a pop is ridiculous. I have some awesome stainless steel squares I use. These are WAY more accurate than the Woodpecker’s ones & a fraction of the price. (At least an order of magnitude more precision and accuracy) These are all stainless steel. So no rusting. And if you drop one, it isn’t ruined. Here are links to all of the sizes. I own them all.
