So I tried to recreate Goku defeating Cell with an Instant Transmission Kamehameha but.... I suppose I wasn't supposed to do that. Goku ends up defeating Cell for real and lives.
This means that Gohan never goes Super Saiyan 2, Goku never learns the Fusion Technique or Super Saiyan 3, Vegeta doesn't get lonely from Goku being away which means Majin Vegeta probably doesn't exist either. Such a simple thing changes so much. Unfortunately, the actual What If story stops there and doesn't pursue these ideas.
