Batman: Knightfall Part 1 official trailer reaction and review. Four minutes of my full thoughts on DC's upcoming animated event. The art style is absolutely incredible — channeling that 90s comic book aesthetic from Kelley Jones. R-rated animation, and the story setup is fire. Bane breaks out of Arkham Asylum and frees Batman's entire Rogue's Gallery. Now Batman has to hunt down the Riddler, Scarecrow, Mr. Freeze, Two-Face, everyone. This is exactly what I want to see — Batman fighting his rogues gallery one by one while dealing with Bane as the bigger threat pulling the strings. The animation looks fluid, the action looks brutal, and the character designs are sick. August 25 digital release can't come fast enough 🔥

The art direction alone sold me on this film. That Kelley Jones 90s aesthetic is perfect for Knightfall. Bane blowing up Arkham and forcing Batman to hunt down his entire rogues gallery while also dealing with Bane as the mastermind? That's the concept right there. I wanna see Batman vs Riddler, vs Scarecrow, vs Mr. Freeze — all of them. The animation looks fluid and brutal. August 25 digital release is coming and I'm ready.
