After seven years of Five Nights at Freddy's, Scott Cawthon, it's creator, is retiring. At the time that this video is posted, the following link should contain the explanation as to why, along with a few comments from the man himself.

Some key points to take away. FNaF games will continue to be created. He says he will entrust the franchise to someone of his choosing. Who this might be, we don't know. But whoever it might be and no matter how good the franchise may become, it can never live up to what Scott made it to be. Some may say "it's just a game", but it's so much more than that. It's a community, and without this community, this channel along with many others would have never existed.

Although we have so many more questions, we wish you all the best and hope you find happiness in whatever it is you decide to pursue. Can't believe it's been seven years since the first game. I can still recall the exact day FNaF 4 came out. How times have changed. Nevertheless, enjoy this little tribute as a proper sendoff. You deserve it Mr. Cawthon. See you on the flipside.
