Thank you for everything, Britt Allcroft!
Like many in the fandom, the news of Britt Allcroft's passing hit like a major gut punch to start the year. Coming only a month after losing my own father, Britt created a show that not only brought me so many memories as a child, but continues to influence who I am as a person today. The Thomas & Friends show was probably one of, if not, the most influential thing in my life. Not only did the show get me in to my interest of trains, but through the fandom that spawned from the show, I've met some of my best friends in the world. I have so many memories of playing with my trains whether with Mom and Dad, Grandma and Grandpa, at my cousins house and now as an adult, I'm continuing to expand my horizons, creating my own stories, learning programs TO create those stories. There's so many things in my life that started from and come back to my love for the Thomas & Friends show and that's was thanks to Britt Allcroft and her team for creating the show. Rest easy Britt. You made so many of us into who we are today. I just hope we continue to make you proud with our creations. Thank you, Britt!
