Video Recording of NRC RIC 2023 Technical Session: How Ex-Siting It Is for New Reactors
In the near future, the NRC expects to receive a number of construction permit applications in which the limited work authorization (LWA) process is a significant portion of the initial review. This session will highlight the LWA and siting process for potential applicants by offering different perspectives from the NRC, other government organizations, and industry professionals. The audience will have a better understanding of the application process, LWA considerations, and what local communities should expect for the siting process.
