Hi! We are the FuseSchool Team, who work alongside talented teachers, translators, designers and volunteers from Ukraine, South Africa and Europe.
FuseSchool has more than 800 educational videos on Biology, Chemistry, Physics, and Mathematics, but they are in English.
We want to support Ukrainians and help students in their war damaged studies, so we decided to translate our videos to Ukrainian. It’s BIG TASK AND WE HAVE USED AI TECHNOLOGY to translate our videos. Sometimes AI technology is pretty stubborn, and refuse to say certain words the right way and sounds just like a robot, still it makes surprisingly correct emphasis on words, problematic for some Ukrainian native speakers.
WE HOPE TO SERVE THE UKRAINIAN STUDENTS ALL OVER THER WORLD BY HELPING THEM EDUCATIONALLY DURING THIS TIME.
There must be more and more Ukrainian content! The world stands with Ukraine

fuseSchool has the intention of not only revolutionising access to good quality education free for everyone. We feel we also have an opportunity in those countries where access is provided, where good teaching does happen already. In these types of scenarios, we want to give teachers and students the chance to liberate there time in the science classroom - by applying fuseSchool videos in the flipped classroom model.
Perhaps the experience made with this is best told by the users themselves - hence we recorded a set of interviews with students and teachers, and here you can see the result, in a concise video about the flipped classroom experience with fuseSchool so far.

Where does this plastic come from? What is it doing to the marine environment and the creatures within it? What are the potential solutions to this problem? And what can YOU do about it?!
You may never have heard of the electromagnetic spectrum, but you would have heard of many parts of it and use them daily.
They are all electromagnetic transverse waves that travel at the speed of light. This speed is hard to imagine, but think of it this way: light can travel 8 complete circuits of the earth in one second.

In this video we are going to describe what is meant by an alternating and direct current, look at the difference between them and how they can be used.

With direct current or DC, we have a cell or a battery in a circuit. The current in a cell only flows in one direction. So the electrons only flow in one direction around the circuit.
But if instead of a cell or battery we have a mains power supply, it is an alternating current or AC, which means the current constantly changes direction.

There are two main types of electrical circuit: series and parallel.
In a series circuit the components are connected end-to-end, one after the other.They make a simple loop for the current to flow round.
In a parallel circuit the components are connected side by side, so the current divides, some going one way and the rest the other way.

Waves have a frequency (the number of complete waves passing a point every second and measured in Hertz), wavelength (the distance between two consecutive points on a wave) and amplitude - the distance of maximum displacement (both can range from a thousandth of a mm to hundreds of metres).

This atom has an unstable nucleus. Any moment now it may undergo radioactive decay. Any time now... Or it may not! We just don’t know, as decay is a random event. GM stands for genetically modified. So, GM crops are plants grown for food whose genes have been altered using genetic engineering. In some cases, the genes of other organisms have been inserted into the genome of the crop plant to improve it in some way. As the human population increases, there is a higher demand for food, and it is often difficult to grow enough food to provide everyone with a balanced diet. Growing GM crops is a partial solution to this problem because GM crops tend to have higher yields than conventional crops.

Gene technology includes a range of activities that take advantage of genetic variation, modifying genes and transferring genes to new hosts. It includes genetic engineering, which we looked at in this video ( youtu.be/DIM38NlkWEo ) and genetic testing.
Gene technology is the term given to a range of activities concerned with understanding
- how genes are expressed,
- taking advantage of natural genetic variation,
- modifying genes, and
- transferring genes to new hosts.
There are many forms of gene technology. This video will take a closer look at genetic engineering, vaccines, gene therapy, and gene testing.

What colour is the liquid flowing through your veins, arteries and capillaries? it’s not blue or red. But technically it’s actually yellow.The blood that you see when you cut yourself looks red because it contains millions of red blood cells but the fluid which the blood cells are suspended in is actually yellow-ish, or straw coloured.

There are many different sources of energy, how many can you name?
Sources of energy include burning coal, oil, gas and biomass, solar, hydroelectric, tidal, wind, muscle power, geothermal, nuclear fusion and fission.
Most of these come from the sun: photosynthesis uses energy from sunlight to help plants build up biomass and put oxygen into the atmosphere.

Even though enough food is grown to feed all 7 billion people on Earth, around 795 million (so 1 in 9 people) do not eat enough food to maintain good health. These people don’t just live in less developed countries, being undernourished is a problem all over the world.
The ability to provide enough food for people is called food security.

Resisting means to withstand something and that’s what electrical resistors and resistance in an
electrical circuit does. In this video we’re going to learn about electrical resistance and resistors.
An electric current is the flow of electric charge (composed of negative electrons) through a
conductor. It is measured in coulombs per second also known as amps or amperes. The conductor is made of atoms joined in a metallic lattice of free electrons. As the current flows through the
conductor, the electrons collide with the atoms. Energy is thus transferred for example to heat. This
explains why a wire, with electricity flowing through it, often feels warm to the touch.

In this video we will be looking at how current relates to both resistance and potential difference, and how we record the potential difference and currents across different components to then calculate resistances.

So, what actually is an organ transplant? An organ transplant is the replacement of a damaged or missing organ by a working and healthy organ - they can be any organs from livers to kidneys to skin (yes skin is an organ!). Transplants can save or greatly enhance lives.The donated organ can either be from a deceased donor, so the donor decided to donate their organs before they died.

Chances are, you have heard the word “matrices” in a movie.
But do you know what they are or what they are used for?
Well, “matrices” is plural of a “matrix”.
And you can think about a matrix as just a table of numbers, and that’s actually all it is. In other words, we can see it as an arrangement of numbers in columns and rows. They are the ones with square brackets around them. Matrices are used in many fields, ranging from linear equations to computer graphics used to make this video, for example!

Around a third of our global crops depend on animal pollination for their production.
Almost all of these crops rely on flowers to attract animals to themselves and so, if
flowers vanished, we would lose 35% of all our crops. That’s roughly equivalent to
having one less meal per day for every person on Earth, so you can see just how vital
flowers are to our food supply. This video will look at the role of the flower and why they
are so important to us.
