Megatron seems to want Predaking himself out of the way now. Not surprising given Predaking doesn't know the Decepticons sabotaged Project Predacon and have no intention of recreating any more of his brethren.
So, setting him against the Autobots, particularly Optimus Prime, seems like a win-win. Apparently he's over the whole yin-yang need-to-kill-his-nemesis-personally thing (Darkness Rising, Part 4).
And the instant-freeze thing Predaking experienced earlier (Rebellion) is also apparently no longer a problem. Likewise for the Autobots' exposure to sub-zero temperatures (Scrapheap).
