Happy Halloween fellow fiends! I hope you've managed to gather a bounty of sweets, or if you're too old for Trick or Treating like me, I hope you managed to get down to the Dollar Tree to buy whatever you want instead of being left to random chance at each doorstep.
Every Spooky Scream Spectacle video is very meaningful to me, because it's a yearly video that I intend to always make. Everything else are things that happen on the fly, but Scream Fortress is a time where I know exactly what I'm going to do. What that means is, it lets me evaluate how my editing has improved from the last Spectacle video to the current one.
In the last year I've gotten much better as subtitling, by putting things on the very top or bottom, and the effects and zoom-ins and spinning and stretching of the text is something I aim to continue to do. Id like to try and optimize the top/bottom space for subtitles better by making my text size smaller in the future, but other than that, I'm very happy with how the video LOOKS. Just wish I could master how it SOUNDS over the next year. My mic always seems to be too sensitive for some reason, I hope to have that down pat in the future.
Anyways, if you have the time to do so, please leave a comment about what you thought of the video or if there were any fun segments in particular that you enjoyed. I've said it once and I'll say it again, comments are the strongest fuel to keep me going.
Not sure what I will be doing for November, and December will have the yearly Montage of Memories. I might try to get another Small Silly Stuff done for the end of November if possible. No guarantees.

In hindsight I should have named the montage Caber Crashing Calamity but whatever, lol.
I thought to celebrate the new year, I should go back to the beginning, back to Degroot Keep, back to the class voice-lines, just make it a classic montage. Next one will have a lot of talking and friends just hanging out goofing off and being engies doing stupid stuff. ;)
Nonetheless, that segment with the cabers and the Can Can song, my gosh that took a LONG time to make. But I am pleased with it. So I hope you enjoy it just as much as me

Here we go again!
This video, just. I poured my HEART out to make this one.Took a week to record and edit, but damn am I PROUD of this. Like, I really went above and beyond and beyond. I tried to make every segment of the montage have something special, be it a zoom, a voice line from a tf2 class, or a special edited segment. Also, you can see that I actually made a couple tributes to NISLT (may he come back soon with good news for all).
Please comment your thoughts on the montage. I really do want some feedback. NOT feedback about me using this loadout, but about the entertainment value of the montage and parts you liked or laughed at. I know people dont like the phlog or at least, rage over people using it. But I like it, it works well on Merc Park, and its just, its super fun to use.
*cracks knuckles and prepares for all the hate comments*
So phlog is a noob wepon? Is a wepon for F2Ps?
And the scorch shot is a cheap weapon that people just fire down a choke?
Nah. I use the scorch shot and try to aim it as best as I can, but I do use it to charge the phlog crits.

Fun times were had, that is for sure. This was one of the better maps and play sessions as of right now, though I know even better times will be had as the series continues!

Haha its one of the meme maps that you either love or hate, and I honestly love it, sometimes. Depends on how many engines are on the defending team. Which is usually a lot.

This was unironically a really fun map to explore. Unless I got lucky and just happened to be playing with people easily-backstabbed, this is a map I had fun playing Spy on, which is a class I almost never play.
I hope you all enjoy watching what me and my friends did on this map. It had a lot of fun serious and friendly moments, combined with a beautiful looking map, made for a really great time.
